Ke Huy Quan, a former child actor, has been thrust back into the spotlight following the release of the 2022 film, ‘Everything Everywhere All At Once’, in which he played the supporting character of Waymond Wong. His acting earned him his first-ever Golden Globe in the Supporting Actor category in Jan. 2023 as well as an Oscar nomination. During his acceptance speech, the “Goonies’ alum admitted he nearly gave up on acting for good before he landed his role in ‘Everything Everywhere All At Once’. He recalled, ‘As I grew older, I started to wonder if that was it, if that was just luck. For so many years, I was afraid I had nothing more to offer. No matter what I did, I would never surpass what I achieved as a kid.’ Ke Huy went on to say that everything that has come to fruition since 2022 has been ‘unbelievable’.
