While people across the globe are honoring their Irish heritage on St. Patrick’s Day, these celebs can boast their true Celtic roots! You would be surprised to know how many of your favorite smokin’ hot celebrities actually hail from Ireland.

Take Jamie Dornan, for example. The Fifty Shades of Grey stud puts on an American accent to play Christian Grey in the three films. However, he was born and raised in Northern Ireland. Four-time Oscar nominee Saoirse Ronan is also from Ireland. Though she was born in The Bronx, Saoirse is Irish, and grew up on the Emerald Isle. 

And then there’s One Direction alum and “Slow Hands” hottie Niall Horan. The solo artist hails from Mullingar, Ireland. Here, you can see Niall looking absolutely adorable on the red carpet at the iHeart Radio Awards in a green jacket and black skinny jeans.
