Jewel, born May 23, 1974, is a Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter and actress.  The star came from humble beginnings, raised in a remote Alaskan town, where she learned to sing and yodel. She studied opera singing as a teen and after cutting her teeth performing at clubs and coffeehouses, she earned a record deal. Her debut album ‘Pieces of You’ was a hit, going 12-times platinum. Hit singles included “Who Will Save Your Soul”, “You Were Meant for Me” and “Foolish Games”. Her career continued with 12 subsequent albums. Jewel has also dabbled in acting and writing, appearing in Ang Lee’s ‘Ride with the Devil’ (1999), ‘Ring Of Fire’ (2013), and a trio of Hallmark TV capers called the ‘Fixer Upper’ mysteries (2017- 2018). She also won the 6th season of ‘The Masked Singer’ as the Queen of Hearts.
