Jacob Tremblay, born October 5, 2006, is an American actor. Jacob first got his start roughly at the age of seven-years-old with a number of credits in the film ‘The Smurfs 2,’ and TV shows ‘Mr. Young’ and ‘Motive.’ Jacob’s big break came in 2015 when he starred alongside Brie Larson in the highly acclaimed film ‘Room.’ In the movie, Jacob and Brie played mother and son pair that were trapped by their abuser in a small shed that served as their home. The film was nominated for a slew of Awards and earned Brie Larson her first Academy Award for Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role. After the film’s success, Jacob went on to lead a number of films including ‘The Book of Henry,’ ‘Wonder,’ and 2019’s ‘Good Boys.’ He stars in the new live-action remake of ‘The Little Mermaid’ as Flounder.
